LEH, July 10: Administrative Secretary of the Information Technology Department, UT Ladakh, Amit Sharma today convened a significant meeting to discuss and strategize critical aspects of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity in Ladakh with the Deputy Director General (DDG) and State Co-ordinator for NIC Ladakh and State Informatic Officer of NIC J&K and Ladakh and senior officers from NIC J&K, at the Civil Secretariat, Leh.
The deliberations and discussions held under the chairpersonship of Amit Sharma focused on critical aspects such as cybersecurity, network operations, security operations, network augmentation, and integration with online services like UMANG, Digi Locker, and e-Office.
Emphasizing the importance of robust cybersecurity, Amit Sharma urged the NIC J&K team to replicate successful services in Ladakh, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data management.

This strategic meeting marks a significant step towards strengthening our IT infrastructure and ensuring the secure delivery of online services to the people of Ladakh, Amit Sharma added. He stated that the development aims to bolster the digital landscape of UT Ladakh, ensuring efficient, secure, and citizen-centric services.
The meeting was attended by the DDG & State Co-ordinator for NIC Ladakh; State Informatics Officer, NIC Ladakh/J&K; Director and OIC, NIC Ladakh; senior officials from NIC J&K; NIC Scientists; IT Managers and all concerned officials.
