JKSA to hold trials for Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championships 2024

jammu, July 11: The Jammu Kashmir Swimming Association is gearing up to conduct trials for the prestigious 40th and 50th Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championships 2024. This highly anticipated event will showcase the talents of young swimmers from across the region, competing for a chance to represent their state on a national stage. The championships, encompassing a variety of swimming events, are scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from August 6th to 11th, 2024. The event is being organized by the Odisha State Aquatic Association under the auspices of the Swimming Federation of India.
The trials will take place at K.C. Sports Club on Akhnoor Road, Jammu, and will commence at 10:00 AM on July 13th. This event is expected to draw numerous young swimmers eager to prove their mettle and secure a spot in the national championships.
Participants will be categorized into three age groups to ensure fair competition:
Group 1: Ages 15-17 (born in 2007, 2008, 2009)
Group 2: Ages 12-14 (born in 2010, 2011, 2012)
Group 3: Ages 10-11 (born in 2013, 2014)
Each swimmer is required to bring essential documents for verification. These include their Date of Birth (D.O.B) certificate, Aadhaar card, and ID card from their respective institutions. These documents are necessary to confirm the age group and identity of the participants, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process.
The Jammu Kashmir Swimming Association encourages all eligible young swimmers to participate in these trials. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills, gain valuable experience, and potentially advance their swimming careers by competing at the national level.
