Shiv Sena stages strong protest against Pakistan, terrorism

JAMMU, July 12: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit leaders burnt the effigy of Pakistan, the so-called master of terrorists, over the repeated ceasefire violations and increase in terrorist activities by Pakistan during the annual Holy Shri Amarnath Yatra and demanded a complete stop on all relations and agreements.
Shiv Sainiks gathered under the leadership of party state chief Manish Sahni expressed their anger by holding placards written "Indian cricket team will not go to Lahore, sports relations with Terroristan will not be tolerated", "Cancel the Indus Water Treaty, will not give water to Terroristan", "Take strict military action against Pakistan" and demonstrated strongly.
In his address, state Chief Manish Sahni said that even during the Holy Shri Amarnath Yatra, Pakistan is not desisting from its nefarious and cowardly acts. Twice in the last two weeks (29 June, 11 July) Pakistan has violated the ceasefire on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. On 11 July, a major infiltration attempt was foiled in the Naushera sector of Rajouri in the Jammu division. The puppets of Terroristan are targeting security personnel and innocent, unarmed people by ambushing them in the mountains and forests of Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Doda in Jammu division along with Kashmir.
In the last 18 months, 40 terrorist incidents have taken place in the Jammu division. From October 2021 till date, about 48 soldiers have been martyred in various terrorist attacks.
In the last one month, 10 civilians have died and 5 soldiers have made the supreme sacrifice in 6 terrorist attacks in the Jammu division. Sahni appeals to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, instructed the BCCI for not to send the Indian team to Lahore to play a match with Pakistan in the upcoming ICC Champion Trophy and to put a complete stop on sports , political, business and diplomatic relations with Pakistan.
Along with this, demand was made to cancel the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, he said that the Indian government should make it clear that if Pakistan continues to harm India, then any kind of friendly relations and agreements will not be continued. On this occasion Meenakshi Chhibber, President Women's Wing, Vikas Bakshi, General Secretary, Balwant Singh, Vice President, Raj Singh, President Kamghar Wing, Sukhveer Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Bitt Ji Bhatt, Prem Kumar, Shibam Raina, Parshottam, Narendra Kumar, Sahil, Jagbir and many other leaders and workers were present.
