Randhawa listens to public grievances; directs UEED, NHAI to redress issues on priority

JAMMU, July 15: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done tremendous work to ensure that every section of the society gets its due share.
This was stated by Former Legislator and senior BJP leader Vikram Randhawa while listening to the grievance of the people during Public Outreach Programme at Greater Kailash area of Jammu South RS Pura Assembly Segment, here today.
During his visit, Randhawa also visualised the development works, which needs to be carried out in the aforesaid area.
While speaking, the people apprised the visiting leader about the issues being faced by them including deplorable condition of drains, construction of deep drains, etc.
“It has become almost impossible for the us to walk in the lanes and the bylanes due to damaged drains”, the people said, adding that due to dilapidated condition of the drains, the rain water enters into their residential areas, thereby damaging their costly and essential goods.
The people also said that National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) is constructing deep drains on pick and choose policy while constructing flyover from Kunjwani to Narwal as part of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, due to which the drain water gets accumulated on roads and thereby inviting a health hazard.
While assuring the people, Former Legislator said that the all their issues will be raised with the concerned departments for early redressal.
Randhawa also took up the issues raised by the people with the officials of the UEED and NHAI and directed them to redress the issues on the priority.
People applauded Former Legislator Randhawa for visiting their area and listening to their issues.
“No one was bother about the issues being faced by us and you (Randhawa) was the first leader, who gave patient hearing to our issues”, the people added.
Anil Kumar Ex-Councillor, Naresh Singh, Reena Salathia, Jameet Singh, Mohinder Ch, Gopal Ch, Ashok Sharma, Darshan Grover and many others were present on the occasion.
