Sahni gives important tips to students, interaction program organised

Jammu, July 16: Continuing the campaign of providing exposure to students through summer internship programme, today, the Institute of Mass Communication and Skill Development (IMCSD) organized a special interaction programme with Manish Sahni, President, Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K , organized at Jammu Press Club, Manish Sahni gave important tips to the students.
Sahni described media as the fourth pillar of democracy and said that the role of media is important in strengthening democracy and ensuring accountability of political parties, especially the ruling parties.
Along with this, it is very important to remain up-to-date in this field, to keep yourself updated with the latest events happening in the world. Keep yourself curious, keep asking questions like "Why did this happen?" or "How did this happen?" Along with this, keep adopting the basic mantra of "5Ws" journalism "Who, what, where, when and why".
Sahni also gave detailed information to the students about his party's "Vacha Nama/Sankalp Patra" and said that his vision is to provide better education, health facilities, unemployment allowance to the educated youth and women empowerment along with free electricity and water to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Along with this, we believe that the local people should have the first right on the resources of the state including jobs and admission in educational institutions.
Encouraging the students, Sahni told that the scope of the field they have chosen for their future has increased a lot, if we talk about every section of newspaper, electronic channel, reporting, editor, graphic section, field, 24-hour tally cast news, entertainment channels, there is a lot of scope in the programs of every field, even cinema, OTT, PR, communication officer posts in government and private sector are eagerly waiting for you.
