| Army dedicates community hall to Begha villagers | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 18- As part of its ongoing endeavours for society development, the Army undertaking various projects under Operation Sadbhavana to meet the aspirations of the local populace by providing them improved infrastructural facilities. These projects are undertaken in consonance with the civil administration and police who actively and whole heartedly support the development of these infrastructural facilities. In pursuit of these efforts, a project for construction of a Community Hall at the border village of Begha in RS Pura was undertaken by Bhalaul Brigade under the aegis of Tiger Division. The Community Hall was inaugurated and handed over to the villagers today by General Officer Commanding Tiger division amidst a festive atmosphere. The function was attended by Commander of the Bhalaul Brigade, Rashpal Chowdhary and a large number of civil dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion, GOC Tiger Division commended the exemplary bonhomie and cooperation between the Army, civil administration, police and exuberant and whole hearted support with active involvement of the local population which resulted in completion of the community hall in a record time. Amenities for the community hall in terms of Chairs, Water Camper, Lights and Fans were also presented as a gift by the Bhalaul Brigade on behalf of the Tiger Division. To commemorate this event, the local Army unit organized a tea party for the villagers followed by a community feast arranged by the villagers of Begha as a token of their warm appreciation in contribution made by the Army for the improvement of the facilities for the village.
