Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 17: The Nationalization of Banking sector on 19th July, 1969 was an event of far-reaching economic consequences for our country. JPBEF has all along been celebrating the Nationalization of Banks every year, as our National organization AlBEA does.
This year also our Federation decided to celebrate the day in an entirely different way. The function this year was held along with some deprived sections of society. Accordingly, we held a social function at Red cross sponsored Home for Handicaps, near KK Resorts Bohri. Our Federation had organized some entertainment and eatables for all the inmates of the Home for handicaps. The Home has in it nearly 65 deaf- dumb and specially abled children. JPBEF considering their educational needs distributed some reading material stationary and associated things like pens, pencils etc to all these children. Federation has also decided to assess their other educational needs which shall also be attended in due course of time.
