Free health check up camp organised at Central University of Jammu

JAMMU, July 17: A day-long free medical camp was organized by the Health Centre, Central University of Jammu (CUJ) in association with MMM hospital, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu for the benefit of students, scholars and employees of the University under the patronage of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain.
The camp was attended by Dr Neeraj Mahajan, Cardiologist, Dr Shally Kandhari, Ophthalmologist and Dr Keshav Giri, Physician, Dietician & Physiotherapist from MMM hospital and supported by paramedical staff. During the camp free medical consultation was provided to 176 patients along with medicines.
Dr Harpreet Singh, Senior Medical Officer, Central University of Jammu thanked the team of MMM hospital, Jammu for making the medical camp successful. He welcomed the team of Dr. Neeraj Mahajan and thanked them for the noble cause. The visiting team of MMM hospital, Jammu was honored by presenting a memento.
The camp prioritised the diagnosis of prevalent health concerns such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Neeraj also took the initiative to educate participants about the importance of routine body profiling and adopting healthy dietary habits to effectively manage weight and blood sugar levels.
