JAMMU, July 18: Bhartiya Kala Sangam, Jammu today held felicitation and Dogri Music program in which large number of art lovers and distinguished citizens attended the event.
In this program, galaxy of Chief Guests including Romesh Kotwal,SSP Kulbir Handa,SSP, Zaheer Abbas, SP , Ajay Sharma, SP Jammu South of J&K Police graced the occasion.
While welcoming the guests and distinguished audience, Sohail Kazmi gave a brief account of various cultural activities undertaken by BKS since its inception from 1980 He appraised that numerous events with regard to art, culture and languages were held in Jammu and Kashmir involving various categories of artists. He said that the platform of BKS is always open for the artists where they can showcase their talent at various platforms including the platform of Bhartiya Kala Sangam.
The artists who performed on stage were artists Aditya Kumar, Ravi Raghuvansh, Uttam Singh Uttam, Chandan Kumar, Joginder Pal etc.
Earlier Bhartiya Kala Sangam felicitated distinguished persons belonging to different fields for their significant contribution made in the society.
The program was ably conducted by Rajni Sharma, renowned Radio nd TV Anchor and vote of thanks presented by Ramesh Singh Chib, Director, BKS. |
