| SSP Jammu holds meeting with retired police personnel at DPL | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 18: To review the welfare measures and to redress the grievances of retired Police Officers, SSP Jammu Dr. Vinod Kumar-IPS today on 18.07.2024 held a meeting with Retired Police Officers at DPL Jammu in which various issues pertaining to them were discussed.
The representatives of Police Pensioners Welfare Forum/Retired Officers Association also put forth various pending issues pertaining to them.
They were heard patiently by SSP Jammu and were assured full cooperation. It was also made clear in the meeting that retirees are always welcomed for their valuable suggestions and there is great respect for them in the Police organization as they have rendered a long service and toiled hard to earn a name for the organization.
Further, SSP Jammu stated that various measures are taken by J&K Police department for the welfare of retired Police personnel and their families. Moreover, the retirees raised various issues in the meeting and a patient hearing was given by the chairing officer and they were assured that their genuine demands & problems would be taken up at an appropriate level for their redressal. SSP Jammu assured the participants that J&K Police is always at their disposal and asked them not to feel isolated. Further they were assured that they are still part of Police organization and they can approach any Police officer or Police unit at any time. |
