| Work on Mandir Park apace: Jai Singh | | | Early Times report
Jammu, Mar 18- The work on Mandir Park in sector C of Ward No 69 involving a cost of Rs. five lakhs and the overhead tanks in sector A and C are in progress.
This was stated by Th. Jai Singh Corporator here today. He said that the earth work on
path ways and iron grilling in Mandhir Park is under progress while work one such park
involving a cost of Rs four lakhs is being taken up shortly.
Singh said that over head tanks in sector A and C which are currently under
construction is being completed shortly. He said that on completion of these overhead
tanks the problem of drinking water would be eased to a great extent.
He said that on his request, the Director ERA has assured to undertake repairs and black
topping of all the roads which have been damaged due to the replacement of old water
pipes and laying of fresh pipes.
