Placement drive held at Govt Polytechnic Jammu

JAMMU, July 19: Government Polytechnic Jammu in collaboration with Amass Skill Venture Pvt. Ltd, organized a one-day placement drive in the campus to provide employment opportunities to the pass-out Polytechnic students. The placement drive was conducted by Escort Kubota, Faridabad and JTEKT India, Gurgaon for the recruitment of the polytechnic diploma pass out students of Electrical, Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Instrumentation and Control and Electronics & Comm. Engineering. The drive was organized under the guidance of Sudershan Kumar (JKAS), Director Skill Development Department. He appreciated the efforts of College for conducting such recruitment drives.
Ravi Shanker, HR Manager from JTEKT, and Parmod, HR Manager from Escort Kubota interacted with the students and conducted technical interviews of the candidates. Pre-counseling placement session was also conducted for the students. About 76 students from Government Polytechnics of Jammu division participated in the drive and 25 were selected for the final scrutiny of documents.
Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt Polytechnic Jammu thanked all the resource persons from the companies for the campus placement of the students and impress upon the students to participate in the various placement drives with full enthusiasm and make full use of their professional & technical skills for employability to various organizations.
Ajay Thapa, TP Cell OIC, facilitated the program alongside other TP Cell team members. Others present on the occasion were Manjeet Singh, HOD Electrical Engineering, Raj Shekhar, HOD Automobile Engineering, Neena Dulloo and Rajesh Khajuria, TPO DLTP cell, Sakahi Kapahi, and Kamal Kumar, faculty and staff of the college.
