Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre organises free health camp

JAMMU, July 20: Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, Udheywala, Jammu organised a free health camp focusing on skin and diabetes on July 20.
Dr. Suby Kakkar, MBBS, Dermatologist, and Cosmetologist from Germany, affiliated with Vivekananda Hospital and Ankur Matrika Hospital and Dr. Maneesh Sharma, MS, DNB in Plastic Surgery, complete diabetic foot care, trauma, burn care, and hair transplantation provided their services.
A total … of patients benefited from the expertise of 15 doctors at this camp.
Apart from the gastroenterology and oncology camps, the participants also be provided free consultations in Physician (Allopathy), Paediatric, ENT, Dental Surgeon, Orthopaedics, Eye Specialist, Gynaecologist and Physiotherapist.
In addition to these specialized services, the health camp will offer free consultations in various other medical disciplines, including Allopathic and Ayurvedic Physicians, ENT specialists, Dental Surgeons, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Ophthalmologists, Gynaecologist, and Physiotherapists.
Distinguished guests including Major (Dr.) Shahid Hussain, State Immunisation Officer, Dr. Meera Dave, Army Captain, Dr. Siddharth Dave, Educationist, United Nations graced the event with their presence.
Shahid Hussain commended the Centre's efforts in alignment with Swami Vivekananda's vision and urged public support for such humanitarian initiatives.
Dr. Suby Kakkar & Dr. Maneesh Sharma praised the Mission's commendable work and encouraged local citizens to make the most of these medical services.
Furthermore, attendees had access to a range of complimentary medical tests free haemoglobin, free blood sugar and BP Tests. Additionally, a full-body checkup consisting of 65 parameters will be available at a nominal fee of only Rs 700.
The camp also facilitated haemoglobin tests, free blood sugar tests and distributed medicines free of charge.
Swami Yajnadharananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, highlighted the organization's commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Dev, Maa Sarada, and Swami Vivekananda, emphasizing service to humanity as a form of divine worship. He also announced plans to organize such free camps monthly.
