| DDC reviews progress on ERA projects | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, MARCH 18 - District Development Commissioner, Kathua, Ms. Mandeep Kaur convened a meeting to discuss various issues relating to improvement and up gradation of Kalibari-Kathua-Hatlimore roads approved under Economic Reconstruction Agency(ERA). The issues relating to the shifting of public utilities on the both sides of the road were also discussed.
Additional District development Commissioner, Kathua, Mr. R.K. Gupta, SE, Hydraulic, Mr. O.P. Dubbey, Chief planning Officer, Executive Engineers of PWD(R&B) PHE, PDD and officers of BSNL, ERA and other departments were present in the meeting.
Ms. Kaur underlined the need to have a close coordination among the executing agencies while executing the works to meet the time constraint.
The DDC however also expressed anguish over the delay in execution of work on these roads.
It is pertinent to mention here that the up gradation of Kali Bari- Kathua- Hatlimore road by way of 3 lines carrying has been approved under ERA at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.44 crores.
