JAMMU/SAMBA, July 20: - Geenakshi Mehra, class 5th student brought laurels to her school, Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan by winning gold medal for the second time in State Wushu Women League under khelo India. She also won a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-. The event was organized by Wushu Association of North Zone Patiala, Punjab. This is a huge achievement for school as she is the first student who at such a tiny age claimed gold medal for the IInd time for school.
The wonder girl is a great sportsperson from her tender age and has always outshine in many sports events both at school and state level. The school has always supported the child and encouraged her to participate in Wushu Competitions. The parents of the wonder girl Mrs. Neena Mehra and Mr. Daleep Kumar appreciated the school management for its support. The proud parents thanked the Principal and the Vice Principal for their guidance and encouragement.
