| Bhandari convenes meet on Jammu fest, Navratras | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, MARCH 18 -Arrangements for the smooth and peaceful conduct of Mela Bahu Fort on Ramnavami falling on April 3 were reviewed in a meeting convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Dr Mandeep K Bhandari here this evening
DDC directed the officers to ensure all arrangements are made well in advance for the convenience of the devotees paying obeisance at the temple Bahu Fort during Navratras. Arrangements for the Ramnavami procession were also discussed
Emphasizing on foolproof security arrangements, the Deputy Commissioner directed the police and other security agencies to maintain extra vigil during the auspicious occasion.
The other arrangements reviewed included smooth regulation of traffic adequate supply of water, electricity and sanitation. Representatives of various religious organizations discussed several issues with the DDC for peaceful conduct of the festive occasion.
Interacting with the participants, Dr Bhandari asserted on maintaining liaison and working in coordination so that the devotees do not face any problems
