Jammu Kashmir Teachers forum holds meeting addresses key Educational issues

Jammu, July 22: Today under the directions of Sh Ganesh Khajuria Chairman Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, a meeting of the FORUM was organised at Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The meeting was organised under the leadership of Sh Darshan Sharma State Secretary in which all the senior leaders of the FORUM attended the meeting.
The main agenda of the meeting was the adjustment of newly promoted Masters, promotion of left out Teachers in the consideration zone for promotion, one time exemption cases of the teachers/masters/ I/c lecturers who have done their PG courses in different subjects through distance/correspondence mode and regularisation of I/C lecturers.
While speaking on the occasion all the speakers strongly appealed worthy Director School Education Jammu for the adjustment of newly promoted Masters. Elaborating their views they also said that more than 1500 teachers were to be promoted as per the assurance of worthy Director School Education Jammu but the released list was only of 1029 candidates. When approached by Chairman, worthy Director School Education Jammu also agreed to issue another list of I/c Masters with same number. Speakers also requested Worthy Director to release the said list as soon as possible as the Schools are suffering with the shortage of Staff.
On the issue of one time exemption cases of Master/Teachers who have done their PG courses in different subjects from the different universities without prior permission from the administrative department the speakers advocated to grant this exemption cases on priority basis so that the masters/teachers can be promoted to the next cadre.
Moreover, the speakers also highlighted the genuine issue of regularisation of I/C lecturers who are working from the last so many years in their own pay and grade.
Darshan Sharma State Secretary JKTF while addressing the gathering said that all the legitimate issues will be conveyed to sh Ganesh Khajuria Chairman on his arrival, who is in the national capital to attend the meeting of NJCA and next course of action shall be conveyed through media in order to adress all the just and genuine issues at an earliest.
Bharat Bushan Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Gautam Singh, Yougal Dubey, Iqvinder paul Singh, Balraj Singh, Bishan Sharma, Jatinder Singh, Pawan Sharma,Ravi Kaith, Gurbachan Singh also spoke on the occasion.
