RSS always been at forefront in serving humanity during times of crisis: Kavinder
7/22/2024 10:41:03 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 22: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today hailed the landmark decision of Modi Government to lift the decades-old ban on government employees associating with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its activities. He praised the move as a progressive step that recognizes the invaluable contributions of the RSS to the nation and society.
In a statement issued here today, Kavinder criticized the Congress Party for its historical role in debarring government employees from associating with the RSS. He condemned the Congress's actions as politically motivated and detrimental to the spirit of national service. "The Congress Party's decision to impose this ban was nothing more than a means to suppress patriotic and socially conscious citizens who wished to contribute to the nation through the RSS. This ban was unjust and served no purpose other than to stifle genuine efforts towards nation-building," he asserted.
Kavinder highlighted the RSS's 99-year legacy of unwavering dedication to the reconstruction of the nation and service to society. "For nearly a century, the RSS has been at the forefront of various initiatives aimed at fostering unity, strength, and resilience in our nation. From educational programs to disaster relief efforts, the RSS has consistently demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of the people," he stated.
Emphasizing the RSS's pivotal role during times of crisis, the senior BJP leader said, "The RSS has always been at the forefront in serving humanity during times of crisis. Whether it is natural disasters, pandemics, or any other emergencies, the Sangh's volunteers have worked tirelessly to provide relief and support to those in need. Their selfless service and dedication have inspired countless individuals to join hands in the mission of nation-building."
He expressed his confidence that lifting the ban will encourage more government employees to engage in constructive social activities, thereby strengthening the bond between the state and society. He called upon all citizens to recognize and support the positive role played by the RSS in shaping India's future.
"The decision by the Modi government marks a new chapter in recognizing the efforts of organizations that work towards the greater good. It is a testament to our commitment to inclusive growth and national unity," he added.
