| BSP announce candidates from 5 LS seats | | | Early Times Report
Jammu: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Wednesday announced nominations for five parliamentary segments of the state. Despite getting a beating in recent assembly polls in which it failed on all 83 segments, the party has decided to contest all the six LoK sabha seats, the polls for which are being held in five phases from 16th of next month. Announcing the names of candidates at a press conference in Jammu today, National General Secretary of the party Narinder Kashyap said that the announcement regarding the sixth candidate would be made later. Reports reaching Press Bureau ofIndia said that the candidates include Choudary Hussain Ali Wafa, a Gujar, from Jammu- Poonch constituency while Rakash Wazir is the party candidate from Udhampur –Doda. From three constituencies in Kashmir valley, the party has fielded Ghulam Mustafa Kasana from Barammulla segment, Muhammad Yousuf Beigh from Srinagar-Budgam and Nisar Ahmad Khan will contest from Islamabad constituency. About the candidature on Ladakh segment, the general secretary said that announcement would be made with in a few days. Narinder Kashyap also announced that the party would organize a ‘mass’ rally in Jammu on 30th of this month.
