"Kargil Vijay Diwas Documentary Screening at GGM Science College Enlightens NCC Cadets"

JAMMU, July 24: In Commemoration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, GGM Science College hosted a special Screening of a documentary highlighting the valor and sacrifices of our armed forces during the Kargil conflict. The event, attended by Principal Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta, Lt. Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma, ANO and esteemed faculty Members, aimed to educate and inspire the NCC cadets about the historic significance of the 1999 KARGIL WAR.
The documentary meticulously curated to depict the bravery and determination of our soliders, captivated the audience with its poignant narrative and gripping visuals. It offered a profound insight into the challenges faced by our armed forces and their unwavering dedication to safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.
Principal Dr. Romesh Kumar Gupta, emphasizing the importance of such events, remarked, "It is crucial For our youth to understand the sacrifices made by our armed forces. The Kargil conflict stands as a testament to the bravery and resilience of our soliders, and events like this help instill a sense of patriotism and respect among our students.''
The NCC cadets, deeply moved by the documentary named 'Guns and Glory' expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn about the pivotal chapter in India's military history.
"Watching the documentary has been a humbling experience. It has inspired us to serve our country with even greater dedication," remarked Cdt. Rajveer Singh, reflecting on the impact of the screening.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Lt. Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma and a tribute to the martyrs and a pledge to uphold the ideas of courage and sacrifice demonstrated during the Kargil War. Such initiatives not only honor our heroes bus also reinforce the spirit of nationalism and unity among the youth.
