| GDC RS Pura inaugurates week long celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2024 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 24: On eve of week long celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2024, the NCC cadets of inaugurated series of events under the guidance of worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour and coordinated under ANO Boys Dr. Rakesh Choudhary and Girls Dr. Roopali Slathia of the college.the series of events started with the screening of Indo-Pak Kargil Vijay Diwas Documentary in the college to observe India's victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War in which the Pakistani forces were ousted from the occupied mountain peeks of northan Kargil Distt. in Ladakh in 1999. this programme was organised under the banner of IQAC of the college. The college also organised "Unity Run" to commemorate the Vijay Diwas on account of fallen heroes of the land. In this Unity-Run, 50 cadets (both Boys & Girls) participated along with faulty members.The Unity-Run was flagged of by worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour and motivated the cadets to join arm forces and e contribute towards the Nation. The other faculty members who were present Dr. Savtanter Kour, Dr. Kiran Pathania, Prof. Jugal Kishore, Prof. Shelly Kalsi, Prof. Neelam Kumar, Prof. Meeshu Pandita, Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, Dr. Rakesh Kalotra etc. |
