JKNPP express shock over tragic bus mishap, demands probe

JAMMU SEPT-21- Expressing shock and grief over the tragic bus accident near Budhal in Rajouri district today in which 25 people are reported to have lost their lives, the JKNPP has demanded a probe into the accident and stern action against the erring traffic officials.
Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary in a hand out said that a condolence meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ms Anita Thakur General Secretary of the Party to mourn the death of passengers who were killed in the accident.
While expressing shock over the tragic accident, Ms Thakur has alleged that the administration was not serious over checking the overloading in the buses which has been the main reason for such accidents and demanded a probe to identify the officials responsible for it besides grant of adequate compensation to the aggrieved families According to the handout Prof Bhim Singh Chairman of the party is also reported to have
Telephonically conveyed heart felt sympatheties with the bereaved families and demanded adequate compensation to the victims.
