Jammu, July 26: To celebrate ‘KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS 2024’ & Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, in coordination with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment , Government of India, Social Welfare Deptt. J&K Govt. and Sangam Tru Art Production , presented 345th Friday Series Dogri Musical Play “UNCHA RAHE TRIANGA” at Durga Bhawan, Janipur Jammu today. The Musical play was written, produced and directed by Dr.M.L.Dogra , former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , Government of India. The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr.Anju Kumari Dogra, Govt. Health Department Jammu .Among the Guest of Honor present were Dr.Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government. Among the Guest of Honors, Sh.V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Romesh Chander, Advisor, Shavshat Art Gallery & Mr. Mukesh Singh Senior Media Person. The Chief Guest said this programme was organized to highlights the Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated annually on 26th of July to mark India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War of 1999 and honour the bravery of soldiers who sacrificed their lives. Blsks all artistes paying tributes to the martyrs of Kargil war on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The lyrics of the songs sung were “Uncha Rahe Trianga”, “Mera Bharat Desh hai Sathiyo Sab desho se Payara”, Sarfroshi ki tamana ab humare dil mai hai”, ‘‘Nashe kola Bacho, special skits & dances prepared on the occasion. The artists of BLSks presented theme based songs written by Dr. M.L. Dogra & the music was the composed by Mr. Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor, Blsks. The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples.
Earlier welcome address of Sh. M.L. Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS said that the whole country is celebrates this day, we honour the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who fought tirelessly to reclaim the Kargil Heights from Pakistani infiltrators. Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrates the unwavering resolve of our armed forces in protecting India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.Kargil Vijay Diwas, observed annually on July 26, commemorates the success of Operation Vijay in 1999. In the battle, Indian forces successfully reclaimed strategic positions in the Kargil sector of Jammu and Kashmir that Pakistani soldiers and terrorists had infiltrated. Dr.Dogra repeated the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Pakistan has not learnt any lessons from history and has faced defeat whenever it carried out any misadventure. He noted that Pakistan was trying to remain relevant through terror and proxy war, but it has faced defeat whenever it has carried out any misadventure. “Today, I am speaking from a place where masters of terror can hear my voice directly. I want to tell patrons of terrorism that their nefarious designs will never succeed.
Sh. M.C. Kotwal, Secty, BLSKS said this day holds tremendous significance in Indian history and commemorates the victory of our armed forces over Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil War, is an occasion for a grateful nation to pay tribute to the indomitable courage and extraordinary valour of our armed forces. I pay tribute to each soldier who made the supreme sacrifice while protecting Mother India on the peaks of Kargil in the year 1999 and bow in reverence to their sacred memory and also informed to the media the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented every year more than 200 Musical Plays cum awareness Cultural Shows to promote the culture of India and awareness programs on Prevention of Aids ,Water Sanitation, National Integration, Rural Development, Drug Abuse , Cleanliness and Save the girl Child . The singers ,musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Raina , K K Joshi, Raju Bajgal , Rajni Gupta, Bindia Okheda, Chahat Chadha, Rahul Kumar, Rajeev Salotra, Zulekha Farid, Sudesh Devi Manhas, Sanjeev Kumar, Renu Bala, Rajeev Salotra and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
