Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 27: The recently established Innovation Club at Jodhamal Public School takes an unprecedented leap as the students of the Hub create a buzz through their innovation and achievements. The seven club members amongst then have 1 British Patent, 4 Indian Patents, National Bal Puraskar, Lady Diana award and many other International & National Awards.
The individual achievements of the founding student-members of the School's Innovation Hub are:
In a remarkable achievement, Karman Singh, a student at Jodhamal Public School, has secured the British patent for his groundbreaking invention - an innovative Smart Dustbin equipped with Monitoring and Categorized Waste Disposal. He also has 2 Indian Patents. Thus, Karman Singh becomes one of the youngest recipients of the British patent in India, the achievement catapulting him in a different league of innovators altogether.
Al Hana Babar has bagged two Indian patents, Al Hana's device integrates cutting-edge technologies such as Blockchain, IoT (Internet of Things), and AI (Artificial Intelligence) to revolutionize the textile industry's logistical processes. Her second patent is for a wave energy harvesting device that consists of robust wave energy converters and hydrostatic pressure sensors. The wave energy converters in the device efficiently capture the kinetic energy from ocean waves.
Recipient of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar and the prestigious Diana Award instituted and awarded by the British Royal family. Harmanjot Singh once again created a stir in the state by winning the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon Junior. Smart Hackathon is the world's biggest innovation model competition.
Sarthak Gupta from Jodhamal has won the prestigious MIT App Inventor Appathon 2023 in the People's Choice Category. The competition was hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the App Inventor Foundation saw participants from all over the world coming together to build apps with the power to change society.Ryan Lamba of Class XII from Jodhamal School has bagged Rank 1 at National Level in the prestigious Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan. With a focus on developing young scientific minds, Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan is the largest science talent search examination for New India, organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in partnership with Vigyan Prasar and NCERT.
Inspired by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's visionary concept of Atmanirbhar Bharat, Jayendra Singh Jasrotia, from Jodhamal Public School has developed and designed a website titled: "Atmanirbhar Jammu". The website reflects the self-reliant image of Jammu province of J&K. Aaditya Singh Sambyal inches a step closer to his dream to explore the space; gets appreciation by the ISRO scientist. He has brought laurels to the school by attaining a Second position in the most coveted International Space Olympiad Competition.
Thus the Innovation Hub at Jodhamal School has created an atmosphere of 'out of the box' thinking allowing the students to explore, experiment and create something which is socially useful and benefits the mankind.
