| Ramban police apprehends accused wanted in rape case since last 5 months | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police in District Ramban appherended an accused wanted in a rape case and was evading arrest since last 05 months.
On the basis of written complaint a case FIR No 37/2024 U/S 376/417 IPC was registered at PS Ramsoo on 19.03.2024 against Sandeep Singh son of Janak Singh resident of Hoochak Tehsil Pogal Paristan, Ramban. The accused named above was absconding and evading his arrest after the commission of offence with a motive to avoid the legal proceedings.
Sensiing the gravity of offence a special police team was constituted by SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar-IPS.
Police team from Police Post Ukhral headed by IC PP Ukhral PSI Ishan Sharma by making the best possible efforts apprehended the above named accused person by absorbing all legal formalities required under law.The accused named above produced before the Hon'ble court and further remanded to Police custody to conculde the investigation on merits. |
