Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 27: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Saturday appealed to Jammu Administration to take swift and decisive action to alleviate the existing power crisis and water shortage affecting the region.
The BJP stalwart leader made this appeal while interacting with a deputation of residents of Ward Nos. 43 and 44 from Bahut Fort area after the members apprised him about the problems being faced by the people on account of acute power crisis and dearth of potable water.
The senior party functionary highlighted the critical challenges faced by residents, emphasizing on the need for prompt and effective measures. "The ongoing power outages and water shortages have severely disrupted daily life and caused immense hardship for the people.
It is imperative that the authorities prioritize these issues and implement immediate solutions," he said and added that due to absence of elected public representatives it has become imperative that the heads of concerned departments should take the prompt action to mitigate the problems of the people. He pledged to continue advocating for the needs of the people and called for a coordinated effort among government agencies to resolve these pressing issues.
"Our priority is the well-being of the citizens. We must act now to provide them with the essential services they deserve", he maintained while assuring the members of the deputation that he will continue to pursue their cause until and unless the things will move on ground and the issues of shortage of water and power outage will be resolved fully.
