| Parliament Committee letter to J&K Govt on Rattle Project | | |

JAMMU, July 28: Krupal Balaji Tumane, MP and Member, Parliament Standing Committee on Transport Tourism & Culture (Civil Aviation& Shipping), Parliamentary Committee on Welfare of SC&ST, Member Consultative Committee on Coal & Mines and Consultative Committee on Petroleum & Natural Gas has urged the J&K Government to look into the issue of implementation of (R&R) Rehabilitation and
Resettlement plan of Rattle Hydro Power Project, Drabshalla, district Kishtwar.
In a letter to Chief Secretary of J&K, Krupal Thumane has urged him to look into the matter and do the needful so that he ben- eficiaries should not suffer more and development should be done in district Kishtwar at an earliest.
Krupal Tumane has made a reference to a memorandum sub- mitted by Tilak Raj Shan, Shiv Sena president Chenab Valley in this regard. In his memorandum Shan had expressed serious con- cern over the failure of the Project authorities in implement- ing the R R plan despite the repeated pleas by the people of the area as well as his organiza- tion. He had sought immediate intervention of Parliamentary Standing Committee on this issue.
Shan added today Deputy secretary to the Government 22.07.2024 letter no pdd-ps/8/22-5-pdd issued approved letter and forwarded to managing director JK regarding implemant R&R plan for Rattle hydro power project Drabshalla district kishtwar and request you to kindly examine the instant matter and furnishing the detailed report to this department enabling to appraise the honable MP. |
