Power shut down on Mar 20, 21

JAMMU, MARCH 19 (INFO)-In order to carry out stringing work on 132 KV D/C Sewa-II Mahanpur Kathua Transmission Line, a shut down is being availed on 33 KV Mahanpur Basholi lie and 11 KV Mahanpur-Mannu Feeder by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd Sewa-II transmission Mahanpur, the power supply to Mahanpur Town, Basholi Town, Mara Patti, Martha Nagrota, Bhoond, Bani town, Lowang, Dhaggar, Bhandar and areas of district Kathua shall remain affected on March 20, 2009 from 9 a. m to 5 p. m.
Similarly, in order to conduct the thickening work of 33 KV Medical Line, the power supply to Science college, Commerce College, Krishna Nagar, RRL, PHE, Guest House, CID, PHE upto Rajpura and GMC and adjoining areas of C-18 and C-19, PHE, Talab Tillo, Shakti Nagar, Rehari, Parade, Bakshi Nagar, Sarwal, Jewel, Prem Nagar, Link Road, Purani Mandi, Gohra Mohari, Patel Bazar, Bhagwati Nagar, Talab Tillo and adjoining areas shall remain affected on March 21, 2009 from 9 a. m to 1 p. m.
According to Chief Engineer, M & RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
