APS Damana triumphs at Inter APS Cluster-I Hindi debate competition

JAMMU, July 31: Army Public School Damana proudly hosted the Inter APS Cluster-I Hindi Debate Competition for students in Classes IX-XII in their Multipurpose HallThe event was honoured by the revered presence of Lieutenant Col Randeep Singh Slathia, SO School who served as the Distinguished Guest of the occasion. Esteemed attendees included Vice Principal Shallu Kapoor, the dedicated Hindi Department, Escort Teachers, and participants from various Army Public Schools of Cluster-I (Western Command).
The debate was adjudicated by a distinguished panel comprising of Prof. Balwan Singh (Asst. Prof, Govt. College of Education Canal Road, Jammu), Dr .Esha Verma (Asst. Prof, Department of Hindi, Govt Degree College Kathua) and Dr. Parveen Kumari (Asst. Prof. Department of Hindi, Govt College of Women Parade Ground Jammu). The competition saw fervent participants from eight schools: APS Jammu Cantt, APS Ratnuchak, APS Kaluchak, APS BD Bari, APS Samba, APS Miran Sahib, APS Sunjwan, and APS Damana all vying for a coveted spot in the Command Level Competition.
The intellectual debate session was the kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts and perspective that enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the topic. Before the declaration of the result, one of the adjudicators Prof. Balwan Singh sensitized the students about the nuances of debating skills. In a fierce contest, APS Damana emerged victorious, earning the winning trophy while APS Ratnuchak secured the runners-up position. Individual accolades included Aryan Sharma from APS Ratnuchak, who was awarded 'Best Speaker'. Vaibhav Sharma from APS Damana was honoured as the 'Best Interjector'.
