JAMMU, July 31: The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) delegation met Sri Amith Shah, Hon. Minister for Home Affairs, Government of India today (31st July2024) and urged to resolve the problems faced by #Aanganwadi Workers, PHE Daily Wages workers, and Jammu & Kashmir Bank employees. BMS demanded to pay ex-gratia amount to retiring senior Aanganwadi Workers; increase the State Contribution from Rs 560/ as per changing times; regularize senior daily wages workers, payment of 70 months wage dues; early wage agreement with Jammu & Kashmir Bank employees. The Hon. Minister responded positively and said he would speak with LG. The BMS delegation also brought the problems of National Textile Mills workers to his notice and requested that production be started in 10-12 viable NTC mills.
