Weekly plantation drive at Vishwa Yog Sansthan promotes Green Jammu

JAMMU, July 31: On July 30, Vishwa Yog Sansthan organized its weekly plantation drive, focusing on planting various beneficial and medicinal plants. This initiative, held every Tuesday, is part of their ambitious mission to plant 1 lakh trees and contribute to a cleaner and greener Jammu.
During the event, Yoga Guru Karan emphasized the importance of trees and discussed the organization's goal of achieving a "Clean and Green Jammu." He also highlighted how cleanliness is maintained in Western countries and the steps that can be taken to replicate those practices locally also about significance of savan month in Hindu dharma.
The event was graced by special guest Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Baloria, who was honored by the members of Vishwa Yog Sansthan. Other notable attendees included Subash of Ward No. 48, and Ex-Corporator Bansi Lal Gupta, Sobha Ram B.L Bhardwaj Director Agriculture Reen Ravinder Social Forestry who were significant supporters of the event.
Notably, women actively participated in the drive, showcasing their commitment to the cause. In continuation of the plantation drive, a total of 108 trees were planted today. All the volunteers from nearby locality and yoga students of vishwa yog sansthan took part in this actively.
Rajan Gupta, Rajesh Padha, Suresh Sharama, Ashok Sharama, Sham Lal Yog wyi Sunny and Balkar.
