Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 2: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta said that the farsightedness and strong will-power of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has facilitated seamless development in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that who could have imagined a few years back that Jammu and Kashmir would one day become a global destination for film shooting avenues? "It is due to the farsighted vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that today the government of Jammu and Kashmir is taking such steps, leading to new milestones of progress in the region", he said while citing the statement of LG Manoj Sinha made during the J&K Film Conclave claiming that his administration has been working on a model to build better film-shooting on the lines of European countries as efforts are on to make the UT a global film destination soon.
Kavinder said that BJP Government at the Centre has facilitated the desired change in the region and that is the reason behind local administration showing courage to take big and bold steps to ensure colossal development like alluring the filmmakers to the UT by promising conducive atmosphere and all other facilities which they require during their journey of realizing their projects in the splendid locales of J&K.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that people of the region should extend support to BJP in all the ensuing political contests to help the party leadership to continue with the spree of development and create avenues for the people to thrive and prosper, as this aspect was neglected by the successive governments led by the so-called Kashmir centric political outfits, which never thought beyond filling their own coffers by looting the resources of this state enriched by the nature seamless bounties.
