| Rajinder Koul, Raj Mohini join PDP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20- State Secretary of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Rajinder Koul and eminent social activist and educationist Raj Mohini, who had contested assembly election as an independent candidate from Bishnah, along with their supporters, today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of senior leaders of the party. Welcoming these two leaders in the party, PDP general secretary Daman Bhasin said that PDP has been emerging as a biggest political force in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that during the last two months large number of people have joined the party which is clear indication that PDP has become voice of the people of the State. Speaking on the occasion, Rajinder Koul said that he has decided to join the PDP due to its pro people policies and programs. He said that during his tenure as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had set an example of good governance. He said that need of the hour is to strengthen the hands of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti. Raj Mohini, a prominent educationist of Jammu, also expressed her faith in the policies and programs of PDP and assured party leadership that she would work with dedication and sincerity to spread the message of the party. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Ved Mahjan, MLC, Murtaza Khan general secretary and MLC, Shanti Devi ex-MLA, Fallail Singh state secretary, Rafiq Choudhary and Manjeet Singh.
