Inauguration of Vibrant Verve - Season 2 organized

JAMMU, Aug 3: The much-anticipated Vibrant Verve - Season 2, an exclusive luxury exhibition organized by FICCI FLO JKL and Luxuries of Kashmir and powered by PC Totuka & Sons Jewellers from Jaipur as the Platinum Sponsor, was inaugurated today at KC Regalia, Jammu. The event, which will continue through the 4th of August, was officially inaugurated by Khalid Jahangir, Director JKTPO. Distinguished guests, including Asha Suchindra, Chairperson AWWA, and G. Velladurai, (IEDS) Jt. Director MSME, J&K, graced the occasion as guests of Honor. J&K Bank participated as the events Support Sponsor.
Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson of FICCI FLO JKL, warmly welcomed the Chief Guests and Guests of Honor, who were given a guided tour of the exhibition. Extensive participation from across J&K by FLO & Non-FLO members and pan India showcased an impressive array of products, highlighting the diversity and richness of Indian craftsmanship. The exhibition featured 50 stalls, offering a wide range of items, including apparel, home decor, footwear, jewelry, and gourmet foods.
A significant highlight of this season's event is the partnership with the MSME Department, which facilitated the reimbursement of stall charges for all participants. This initiative provided vital support to women entrepreneurs from across the country, enabling them to present their products on a prominent platform and fostering new business opportunities.
The Vibrant Verve exhibition not only showcases the best of Jammu but also serves as a bridge, connecting local entrepreneurs with national markets and vice versa. It provides an invaluable networking platform, where participants can explore opportunities across India. The variety and quality of products on display received high praise from the guests, underscoring the exhibition's success in bringing together top-tier brands and artisans under one roof.
Ruchika Gupta emphasized the exhibition's role as a flagship event for FICCI FLO JKL, epitomizing empowerment, innovation, and collaboration. She stated, "Our initiative goes beyond being a mere event; Vibrant Verve represents a movement towards a more inclusive and dynamic business landscape. It is a celebration of aspirations, innovation, and collaboration, where the women-led businesses unite, share experiences, and inspire future success stories."
The event also witnessed participation from various government departments, including the JKRLM (Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission), which showcased festive rakhi products and GI Tagged Basohli Shawls & Paintings, the Handicraft and Handloom Department featured artisans displaying the region's rich textile heritage, welfare associations like AWWA that works for the welfare of the spouses, children and dependents of army personnel, Lakshyam, ASF etc. This initiative aims to enhance livelihood opportunities for women and Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of the region and pan India, while also promoting our rich heritage.
Day 1 saw artists from Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages showcasing the rich culture of Jammu with Dogri singing by Sonali Dogra and dances representing our rich art forms. There was also representation of various government departments including Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, State Taxes, MSME, Police & JKTPO (Jammu Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation).
As Vibrant Verve - Season 2 continues into its second day, it promises to offer even more engaging experiences for visitors and participants alike, solidifying its status as a premier event promoting women entrepreneurs and businesses in Jammu.
Prominent FICCI FLO JKL members Varuna Anand, Imm Past Chairperson, Arti Chowdhary, Sr. Vice Chairperson, Varsha Bansal, Vice Chairperson, Sona Mehta, Treasurer, Pooja Gandotra, Jt. Treasurer, Mona Saraf, Executive Secretary, Nandita Bajaj, Jt. Secretary were also present.
