SGWF Sunderbani Unit Conducts Plantation Drive under “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”

Sunderbani, Aug 5: The Synergetic Green Warriors Foundation (SGWF) Sunderbani unit recently organized a plantation drive under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” at the ongoing Shiv Mahapuran Katha at Durga Mata Mandir Lamman. The event saw active participation from several notable figures and local devotees.
Pandit Bishan Dass, Pt. Govind Shashtri, Bansi Lal, Capt. Madan Lal, Sonu, and other devotees joined hands in the plantation drive, demonstrating their commitment to environmental conservation and ecological balance. The event was organized by Dogar Nath, Office Secretary of SGWF.
The drive involved planting numerous saplings around the Durga Mata Mandir, enhancing the temple’s surroundings and contributing to the local environment.Devotees present at the Shiv Mahapuran Katha were encouraged to participate, fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature and promoting the message of the campaign.Participants were informed about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance, reducing pollution, and supporting biodiversity. Speaking on the occasion, Pandit Bishan Dass Emphasized the spiritual and cultural significance of planting trees, stating that “trees are living embodiments of our connection to nature and divinity. By planting trees, we honor the sacred bond we share with Mother Earth and our ancestors.” He elaborated on ancient scriptures and their references to trees as symbols of life, growth, and continuity. Pt. Govind Shashtri Highlighted the environmental and health benefits of trees, explaining, “Trees play a vital rol,e in purifying the air, providing oxygen, and supporting wildlife. Our small efforts today can lead to significant positive changes for future generations.” He also shared stories from Vedic texts that underline the importance of trees in human life and the ecosystem. Capt. Madan Lal, Encouraged community participation and unity in such initiatives.
