3/20/2009 11:14:41 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 20- Accusing National Conference of playing opportunistic politics, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP), MLC Rafiq Shah has charged NC Patron and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah ‘of importing terrorism to destabilize the state.
In a statement issued here on Friday, Rafiq said that his anti-national connections earned him (Farooq) ‘the title of security risk’, conferred upon him by the iron lady of India and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’.
‘Who does not know in entire country that Farooq Abdullah is admittedly responsible for import of terrorism in the state after his ouster from Chief Ministership following installation of ‘Gul Shah’ as Chief Minister by the Congress in 1984’, Shah said.
“Despite the fact that the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had declared Farooq Abdullah a security risk, today his son Omar Abdullah is Chief Minister with the support of Congress,” he said.
He alleged that Farooq Abdullah was holding British citizenship and passport with which he went to Pakistan to organize terrorists’ outfits to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir and uproot the innocent masses, besides killings of thousands of Kashmiri youths in the name of so- called Azadi and Autonomy.
“ How he claims to be well-wisher of Kashmiris is not understood, when as per reports and records he (Farooq Abdullah) has caused death and destruction in the state,” he said and added that ‘it was Dr. Farooq Abdullah who inducted Javid Shah and Firdous Ahmad @ Baber Bader into the Legislative Council’.
Shah said that he didn’t need Nationality certificate from a person who according to him is labeled as security risk, adding that Abdullah was the same person who had organized ‘naked dance’ in public meetings before Indira Gandhi.
