| Ramban police held one person with 248 grams of charas in Gool area | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Aug 5: Cracking down heavily on Narcotics smuggling under Operation Sanjeevani Jammu and Kashmir Police in Ramban District foiled a Narcotics smuggling bid in the jurisdictions of PS Gool and arrested one person with charas like substance. A police party of Police Station Gool established a special naka in Sangaldhan Kentha morh area. The person intercepted at naka was coming from Dharam towards Kentha morh who disclosed his identity as Nadeem Ahmed Shah son of Jaffer Shah resident of Gagrsulla. During checking charas like substance weighing 248 grams was recovered from the above said person and on further questioning he could not gave any satisfactory reply regarding possession of contraband substance. Accordingly a case FIR No 63/2024 U/s 8/20 NDPS registered at PS Gool. The accused person has been arrested, contraband seized, investigation of the case going on to prove backward and forward linkages. |
