JAMMU, Aug 5: In a collective effort to promote environmental awareness and encourage citizens to take action towards a greener future, Nations Development Association (NDA), Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Jammu Sampark, and IWC New Gen jointly organized a Plantation Drive at Ranjit College of Education, Kunjwani, Jammu.
The event aimed to bring together individuals from various backgrounds to plant trees and inspire others to join the movement towards environmental conservation. Sushil Singh Charak, Founder cum General Secretary of NDA, emphasized the importance of collective action in making Jammu & Kashmir a greener and happier place.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from members of NDA, IWC Jammu Sampark, IWC New Gen, and students of Ranjit College of Education. Together, they planted numerous trees and pledged to nurture them, symbolizing their commitment to protecting the environment and creating a sustainable future.
Anila Mengi President of Inner Wheel Club Jammu Sampark, emphasized the need for collective action in protecting the environment. Manpreet Kaur Gandhi , President of Inner Wheel Club New Gen, highlighted the importance of environmental-related activities and appreciated the efforts of Sushil Singh Charak and his team.
Ranjit College of Education Chairman Dr. Manmeet Singh and Ranjit Global School Principal Dr. Baljinder Kour appreciated the efforts of Nations Development Association (NDA), IWC Jammu Sampark and IWC New Gen for their good work in society and environmental conservation. The event was attended by Er Surinder Devgowda Retd Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Department J&K, Deepak Singh Charak Finance Secretary NDA, President IWC Sampark Anila Mengi ,Secretary Ravinder Kour Past President Reva Raina and Member, IWC New GEN, President Manpreet Kaur Gandhi, Secretary Ritu Sharma, Past President Ambika Samnotra, Member Kamlesh Kour Ranjit College of Education staff, Ranjit GGlobal School and NDA members.
