| Bazaz shocked over growing HR violations | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 20- Making a dig at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on his assurance of zero tolerance of human rights violation, Chief of J&K Democratic Forum Pandit Bhushan Bazaz has said that ever since Omar took over the reins of the state ten persons were killed by the security forces without any provocation. Talking to media persons here today he said the present government is helpless in taming the police and the security forces which is clear from the refusal of army in accepting the Boomai Sopore killing inquiry report. Bazaz alleged that the human rights violation in the valley is at peak and the latest rights violation is from Kheegam village in Pulwama district where a carpenter was killed by the CRPF personnel. ‘The promise for zero tolerance by the state government is proving hoax’, he alleged and said that his party will not keep mum on the day to day killings of the innocent people in the valley by the security forces.
