JAMMU, Aug 6: A vibrant plantation drive was held at Vishwa Yog Sansthan, Hari ki Pauri, Jammu, as part of the ongoing Clean and Green Jammu movement. This weekly initiative, occurring every Tuesday, aims to make Jammu healthier by planting 1 lakh trees, of which 30,000 have already been successfully planted.
The event began with students and volunteers from Vishwa Yog Sansthan participating in a yoga session. Following this, the plantation of various medicinal and beneficial plants took place, reflecting the commitment of the movement to environmental sustainability and community health.
The chief guest for the event was senior leader Davinder Rana, who was warmly welcomed by ex-corporators Sham Bassan, Bansi Lal Gupta, Sucha Singh, and retired judge Om Prakash Sharma.
