Burglary case solved,02 thieves arrested, 13 stolen mobile phones recovered by Police

JAMMU, Aug 7: On 02.08.2024 complainant namely Ram Chander Mandal S/o Late Ashok Mandal R/o Kotli Shah Doula Patri Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu lodged a written complaint that on 01.08.2024 during the intervening night, two unknown persons entered into the house of the complainant, broken the locks of doors and stolen 02 mobile phones.
In this regard, case FIR No. 162/2024 U/S 331(4)/305 BNS was registered at Police Station R.S.Pura. Acting swiftly, to nab the thieves, a special team was constituted and based on input from reliable sources and with the help of technical assistance, R.S.Pura Police apprehended thieves namely 1.Akhil Chopra S/o Prem Chopra R/o W No.10 R.S Pura Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu 2.Sant Kumar Banjaray S/o Lal Ji Banjarary R/o W No.14 Kirtan Bhawan Mohalla Bundala Tehsil Pangarh District Jahangir Champa Chhattisgarh A/P W No.10 R.S Pura District Jammu and put them on sustained questioning.
During sustained questioning, they disclosed their involvement in the commission of crime and on their disclosure 02 stolen mobile phones in afore mentioned case FIR has been recovered. Besides, 11 other mobiles phones stolen from different locations have also been recovered from their possession
