| 300 differently abled persons examined in Billawar | | |

KATHUA, MARCH 20 - Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, Government of India conducted Assessment/ Screening Camp for physically challenged persons at Billawar today.
The rehabilitation Camp was inaugurated by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Billawar, Mr. M. Raju IAS and Director Composite Regional Centre, Dr. R.A. Untoo.
In this camp more than 300 physically Challenged persons having various disabilities like Visual impairment, hearing disabilities, Orhtopaedically handicapped, polio Amputation and mentally challenged were examined and assessed so that they can be provided the required assistive devices in the follow up rehabilitation camp once these are fabricated at CRC Srinagar.
Director Composite Regional centre, Dr. Reyaz Ahmad Untoo while speaking on the occasion appreciated and complimented the sincere and dedicated efforts of the district/ Tehsil administration and social Welfare department which ensured large turn over of physically challenged persons to get their problems addressed.
