| SMVDU donated notebooks to Govt School in Tareen village | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 8: NSS SMVDU Katra volunteers organized a visit to Govt. Primary school in Tareen village under Panthal block. NSS volunteers donated notebooks to all the school students. Through a little skit, volunteers used the occasion to teach the children about good eating habits. The event was organized as a part of the 7 day special camp of the NSS unit of the University. Fruits were also distributed to all the students by the volunteers for their better health. NSS student coordinator Sadhvi Sharma coordinated the whole event. NSS Programme coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar were also present during the event. School authorities thanked NSS team for their donation. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Pragati Kumar appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers. |
