DODA, Aug 8: Following the directions from the Mission Director Poshan J&K, a District Level Awareness Programme was organized by District Programme Officer Doda, S. Paramjeet Singh at Khalleni Marmat in collaboration with CDPO Assar/Marmat.
The event was attended by officers from various departments, including CDPO Assar/Marmat, CDPO Thathri, prominent citizens, social workers, supervisors, Anganwadi workers, Anganwadi helpers, and local women from Assar and Marmat.
The programme featured a range of activities such as skits, poems, and speeches to spread awareness about Swachhta, PMMVY, Poshan, breastfeeding, and balanced diet. Participants also took a Swachhta pledge, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness and hygiene.
Poshan Projects in Marmat and Assar are committed to conducting similar programmes throughout the district. Similar event is scheduled to be held tomorrow at Bhaderwah, followed by other projects in the district in the coming days and throughout the year under I.E.C. initiatives.
