RS Pura, Aug 9: In a vibrant celebration of patriotism and community spirit, the Department of Sociology at Government Degree College (GDC) R.S. Pura, in collaboration with Anganwadi Centre R.S. Pura Ward No. 11, organized a rally on the eve of Independence Day.
This rally, held as part of the “Tiranga Yatra Rallies” series, was conducted under the guidance and patronage of the college’s esteemed Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of GDC R.S. Pura, led by Prof. Jai Mala Thakur, Head of the Department of Sociology, and Anganwadi workers from Ward 11 of R.S. Pura.
The participants, proudly waving the tricolor, marched with great spirit and enthusiasm, reflecting the deep-rooted national pride in the community as the nation approaches its Independence Day celebrations.
The rally aimed to strengthen patriotic sentiments among the masses, fostering a sense of unity and national pride. Participants also took the Tiranga pledge, reaffirming their commitment to the nation.
The successful organization of the event was coordinated by Prof. Jai Mala Thakur, who ensured that the rally was both impactful and meaningful, leaving a lasting impression on all those involved.
