22nd J&K UT Athletics Championships-2024 to be Held at Jammu University on August 20-21

Jammu, Aug 9: The J&K Amateur Athletics Association is set to organize the 22nd J&K UT Athletics Championships-2024 at the Synthetic Athletics Track, University of Jammu, from August 20th to 21st, 2024. This prestigious event will take place under the auspices of the Athletics Federation of India and is organized in collaboration with the University of Jammu and the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K Jammu. The championships are sponsored by the J&K Sports Council.
The event will feature competitions in various age categories for both boys and girls, including Under-14, Under-16, Under-18, Under-20, and an Open category. The age criteria for each category are as follows:
Under-14: Born between November 12, 2010, and November 11, 2012
Under-16: Born between November 12, 2008, and November 11, 2010
Under-18: Born between November 12, 2006, and November 11, 2008
Under-20: Born between November 12, 2004, and November 11, 2006
Open Category: Born before October 31, 2004
Athletes are allowed to participate in up to two individual events and relays. Participants must provide original age proof certificates when collecting their chest numbers, which will be distributed on August 19, 2024, at Jammu University from 3:00 PM onwards.
Entries for the event are to be submitted online through the official portal: https://jkathletics.daasport.com/. The last date for submission is August 16, 2024.
