Jammu, Aug 10: As India gears up to celebrate its 78th Independence Day, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan on today urged the party cadres to make the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign a mass movement by hoisting the national flag at their homes. Rekha Mahajan along with State Secretary and Prabhari Jammu South Ayodhya Gupta, District General Secretary Pushpinder Charak, Former Corporator Ajay Gupta and Pardeep Sharma.
Rekha Mahajan highlights that BJP is set to launch the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign accross the nation from August 11. While briefing the media correspondent Rekha Mahajan enlightened The Tiranga Yatra conduct from August 11 to 14 August. During the period the national flag hoisted on every house, shops and office.
She educate that the cleanliness drive also carried out during the campaign. Rekha Mahajan is all set to roll out its entire organisational power to spin the ambitious "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign into a nationalistic exercise at the grass-root level. Conceptualised as part of celebrations, Rekha Mahajan chaired a meeting flanked by BJP workers.
Rekha Mahajan chalk out the strategy for the upcoming party agendas and discuss Jammu district organisational layout along with senior party functionaries. She similarly partook in numerous topics taken up during the meeting, wherein threadbare fora were held to chalk out future programmes. Rekha said commemorating 75 years of independence and termed 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', the campaign will see BJP workers coordinating with the state government and the civil society members to unfurl the tricolour in maximum possible households -- right from those in the Jammu South to developmental blocks and kasbahs. She said that his party would provide national flags (Tiranga) for hoisting by the common masses in Jammu District South under the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign.
Rekha Mahajan on the occasion said that BJP's policy has always remained on the "nation first" stance in its every plan and action. She said that while the whole nation is observing "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” on the call of Modi government, the BJP has fully committed itself to the campaign.
She asserted that BJP is just like a" brainstorming" party which works for all domains of society. Rekha said August 2 is the birth anniversary of Pingli Venkhaiya who designed the National Flag. She urges all to use ‘tiranga’ as a profile picture in social media accounts between August 11 and August 15,” as desired by our Prime minister Narendra Modi. Rekha urged the party activists to create awareness in the masses so that they procure Tiranga and hoist it with full pride and honour on their rooftops.
