Interact Club Jammu Helping Hands launch plantation drive

JAMMU, Aug 10: Interact Club Jammu Helping Hands launched a unique plantation drive 'Each One Plant One' at KC International School, wherein they gifted each student one sapling to be planted at their respective places. In the first phase of the project 500 saplings were given to the students of the school.
Anvi Gupta( President of Interact Club) educated the young school children about the manifold benefits of tress.
Interacts of the Club Asmie Gupta, Avantika, Saumya, Laksh, Jayant, Niramya informed the gathering that this plantation drive is aimed at enhancing our community's green cover and promoting environmental sustainability.
Karuna Gupta(Club Advisor) said that Interact Club brings together young people aged 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.
The members of Rotary Club Jammu Helping Hands Rtn Dr Rohit Gupta, Rtn Sunny Gupta, Rtn Jatinder Mengi, Rtn Puneet Mahajan, Rtn Dr Prem Sharma expressed their gratitude to the principal Anupama Sinha for inculcating moral and environmental values in young generation.
Interact Club and the school management expressed gratitude to DFO Ashwani Kumar for his unconditional support in making the project successful.
