Grand celebrations in mark Sthapna Divas of Shri Shani Dev at Lakshmi Narayan Mandir

JAMMU, Aug 10: The Sthapna Divas of Shri Shani Dev (Shila), a replica of the revered Shri Shani Dev Temple of Shingnapur, was celebrated with grand rituals and religious ceremonies at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The auspicious occasion saw a large gathering of devotees and prominent personalities who participated in the sacred events.
The celebrations began at 8:30 AM with Shri Ganesh and Navgrah Puja, followed by the Puja of the installed Trishuls and statues of Elephants in the Shani Dev Mandir. The Abhishek and Shingar ceremonies for the deities were conducted by the Trustees, Special Invitees, and Shri Davinder Khawle and family, under the guidance of renowned Pandits. The ceremonies culminated in a Maha Aarti at 10:30 AM, which was attended by a large number of devotees. The rituals were also graced by Mama Shri Devinder Khawle and Bhanja Shri Samar Dev Singh Charak, adding to the spiritual fervor of the event.
Following the religious ceremonies, a grand Bhandara was organized for the general public, where a large number of people were served prasad till late in the evening. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as devotees came together to celebrate the divine occasion.
The entire event was organized under the patronage of Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of the Trust. The Shashtris addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of Shani Puja and its importance in warding off negative influences and bringing peace and prosperity.
Among the notable attendees were S/Shri SC Rekhi (General Secretary), PC Gupta, Parshant Sharma, Ved Verma, Jagjit Singh Jamwal, Krishan P Gupta, Kulbir Singh Chib, Tarun Gupta, Sandeep Singh, Ajay Pandoh, Indu Bhushan Sharma, PC Gupta, Harish Malhotra, Prem Sharma, KB Magotra, Karan Singh, Ashok Khajuria, Brij Raj Singh, V.K Abrol, Sumesh Damral, Pankul Vaid, and many others. The Sthapna Divas celebrations at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir were a grand success, reflecting the deep devotion and spiritual commitment of the community towards Shri Shani Dev.
