JAMMU, Aug 10: In a significant move towards strengthening its political presence in the Chenab Valley, the National Conference (NC) has intensified its organizational efforts ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. The party's leadership is taking decisive steps to engage with its grassroots workers and ensure robust preparations for the polls.
In this context, NC President and former Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, is scheduled to visit the Chenab Valley tomorrow to hold series of meetings with the party cadre. This visit underscores the party's commitment to maintaining direct contact with ground-level workers and mobilizing them for the electoral battle ahead.
Accompanying Dr. Farooq Abdullah on this important visit will be several key party leaders, including Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President, Provincial Vice President Khalid Najeev Suharwardy , Zone President Chenab Valley and former minister Sajjad Kitchloo, Vijay Lochan Chairman JKNC SC Cell and District Presidents Tanvir Kitchloo (Kishtwar), Zaffarullah (Doda), Mehboob Iqbal (Bhadarwah) and Sajjad Saheen (Ramban). Their presence at the series of meeting highlights the party's united front and dedication to consolidating its strength in the region.
The primary objective of the upcoming meetings is to gear up the party machinery for the upcoming Assembly polls.
